Gladys A. Leary, 88, of Tylersport formerly of Philadelphia died October 19, 2011 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. Born in Richmond, VA she was the daughter of the late James Clinton & Arlie Virginia (Karacoff) Leary. She was a small motor repair person for Penn Engineering Motion Technologies in Harleysville before retiring. Gladys enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and listening to music. She is survived by three daughters Linda L. Croissette and her husband Karl of Perkasie, Gladys A. Nemchik and her husband Eddie of Boyertown and Katherine Berrier and her husband Craig of New Tripoli. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren and one on the way in January. Two nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by a son Joseph F. "Joe" Berkelback, Jr., three brothers and three sisters. Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Saturday 2:00-3:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
