George A. Witsil, Jr., 75 of Doylestown died January 1, 2009 in Doylestown Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy E. (Medary) Witsil. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last April. Before his retirement he was a machinist for SPS Technologies in Jenkintown. Born in Wilkes Barre he was the son of the late George A., Sr. and Margaret (Balla) Witsil. George was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was also a gifted artist, enjoyed hunting and doing yard work. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Keith T. Witsil and his wife Melanie of Quakertown and George A. Witsil, III of Melbourne, FL. a step son Stephen Rosenthal of Sanger, TX. A sister Peggy A. Witsil of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Three grandchildren Rachelle Lysinger, Karen Ulp and Sherry Rosenthal. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 9, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W.
