Genine E. Leary

Genine E. Leary, Fort Wainwright, Alaska, died Monday March 5, 2007 in Fairbanks, Alaska. It was her 32nd birthday. She was the wife of John Leary. They would have celebrated two years of marriage on March 19th. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of John A. & Sylvia D. (deHamidiam) Holznagel of Ottsville. Genine worked as a healthcare provider for the Fairbanks Community Behavioral Health Center. Genine will forever be remembered as a gentle person, full of joy and love, who saw only good in those around her. She loved hugs. She had a special place in her heart for animals, children, and most of all, the elderly. Although miles separated her from her parents, they remained very close through daily phone calls and countless care packages exchanged between them. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a brother Stephen Michael and his wife Sarah of Albuquerque, New Mexico. A mass will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 4050 Durham Rd., Ottsville. Call Friday evening 7:00-9:00 P.M. in the C. R.
