Fred W. Baker, 79 of Quakertown formerly of Warminster died Sunday June 21, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Frances (Burns) Baker. They celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary last July. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Clayton R. Baker and the late Catherine M. (Elser) Bovie. Fred was a maintenance supervisor for the Pine Manor Apartment Complex in Fox Chase before his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He was also a former member of the New Britain Baptist Church. Freds true passion was riding his Harley Davidson and being a member of the Harley Owners Group. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Walt Baker (Darlene), Alice Volz (Michael), Brian Baker, Ricky Baker (Marie), Frances Baker, Heather Medlin (Ray), Clayton Baker, Larae Cunningham (Scott), Wesley Johnson (Lisa) and Christopher Johnson (Nichole). Sisters Roberta Slye, Rosemarie Toth, Stephanie Slye, Rosaline Blunt and Lolly Logan. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Honoring Freds wishes there will be no services. Contributions can be made to the Upper Bucks Activity Center P.O. Box 46, Quakertown PA 18951. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R.
