Frank R. Yakovich

Frank R. Yakovich, 78, of Green Lane formerly of Auburndale, Florida died September 6, 2012 in Quakertown Center Genesis Health Care. He was the husband of Donna M. (Norgren) Yakovich. They were married 56 years in June. Born in Wilkensburg, Pa he was the son of the late Frank Yakovich and Mary Viola (Raub) Erickson and also the step son of the late Carl Erickson. He retired in 1996 as the Baking Teacher for the Upper Bucks County Vocational School. He was a mason with the Cochran Lodge #271 of Marshall Virginia. Frank served as the wood burning director at Camp Ockanickon Boy Scout Camp in Plumstead Twsp. He also enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Auburndale. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Allen and his wife Jodie of Quakertown, two daughters Sherry Mininger and her husband Keith of Green Lane, and Sandra Waite and her husband Stephen of Sarasota, Florida. A sister Carol Hill and her husband Joe of the Villages, Florida. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Predeceased by a sister Frances Bodine. The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the United Methodist Church in East McKeesport, PA. Arrangements by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
