Francis E. Kempton, 91, of Quakertown formerly of Pen Argyl died February 26, 2013 in Belle Haven Nursing Center. Born in Milford, Massachusettes he was the son of the late Earl F. & Vernie I. (Julian) Kempton. He was a painter for Herb Yost Painting before retiring. Francis enjoyed building model airplanes and watching cowboy and war movies. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II and a member of the VFW. He is survived by two daughters Roselee E. Stever of Sellersville and Carol A. Kempton of Barto. A step daughter Loretta Trout of Milford, NJ. Fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by a God child Monica Kehs of Pen Argyl. Predeceased by a son Leon "Skip" Robert Kempton, and his companion Alberta M. Bartholomew. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. There will be no calling hours.
