Forrest "Sam" Weitzel, 81, of Quakertown died July 13, 2009 in his home. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Hengey) Weitzel. They were married 54 years last October. Born in Center Valley, he was the son of the late George & Lottie (Geissinger) Weitzel. He retired in 1989 from Insaco, Inc. in Trumbauersville. Sam was an avid golfer and enjoyed sports especially the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He was a U.S. Army and Navy Veteran. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son David A., of Bethlehem and a daughter Kathleen A. of Center Valley. Funeral and burial services will be at the convenience of the family. The C. R.
