Forrest O. Young

Forrest O. Young, 87 of Telford formerly of Perkasie died September 2, 2006 in GrandView Hospital, Sellersville. He was the husband of the late Edna M. (Boyer) Young. From 1945 until the present he was employed by Richland Feed Co. at the Perkasie Mill. Born in Pennsburg he was the son of the late Watson B. and Cora E. (Overly) Young. He was a member and usher at West Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown. He was a US Army veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. He also was a member of the Milford Township Fish, Game & Forestry Association. Forrest is survived by two daughters Nancy J. wife of Joseph Trinka of Puyallup, WA. and Marilyn F. wife of James Smith of Goshen, IN. and two sons Dale B. of Telford and Dennis O. and his wife Georgia of Quakertown. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Fern and a brother Harvey. Services will be held on Thursday September 7, at 11:00 a.m. at West Swamp Mennonite Church 2501 Allentown Rd. Quakertown, Pa. 18951. Call on Wednesday evening September 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
