Florence R. Brey, 61, of Quakertown formerly of Zion Hill died February 4, 2009 in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the Clarence "Jake" Brey, Jr. They were married 42 years last May. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Charles W. & Mildred (Sterner) Frederick. She was last employed by the former Quakertown Acme as a cashier. She attended East Swamp Church in Quakertown. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Sherry Rush and her husband Dale of Perkasie. Two brothers Vernon and his wife Irene of Macungie and Walter and his wife Sandy of Zion Hill. Two grandchildren Erin and Glen. Services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
