Florence B. Fischer

Florence B. Fischer, 64, of Quakertown died Friday, May 23, 2008 in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. She was the wife of Joseph F. Fischer. They were married 26 years in March. Born in West Rockhill Twp., Pa she was the daughter of the late Edward & Mildred (Schaeffer) Warris. Before her retirement she worked at Fischer Tuxedo Headquarters in Quakertown, prior to that she worked in the quality control department of the former Royal Pants Factory. She was a member of the Quakertown Women's Club and an avid fisherman. Florence was a member of First United Church of Christ in Quakertown. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons Randy D. Steskal of North Carolina, Ricky R. Steskal of Coopersburg, and Brett D. Fischer of Quakertown. Three daughters Sherry A. Foltz of Maryland, Barbara A. Horner of Quakertown and Beth A. Dankowski of Connecticut. A brother Edward T. of Quakertown and a sister Nancy L. Seal of Bradford County, Pa. Eleven grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Ronald. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ 4th & Park Ave., Quakertown.
