Faith E. Rush

Faith E. Rush, 78, of Quakertown died March 26, 2017 in her home. She was the wife of Arthur C. Rush. They were married 58 years last September. Born in Allentown, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert A. & Helen M. (Hendricks) Raines. She was a former crossing guard at 7th & Juniper Street for the Q.C.S.D. Faith enjoyed reading, and especially enjoyed family gatherings at her home. She volunteered at Care & Share in Souderton, and was a former member of West Swamp Mennonite Church. She was a member of the Indian Valley Faith Fellowship in Harleysville where she was active with childrens ministries and the Women in Mission. In addition to her husband she is survived by her three children Vickie B. Hoke of Quakertown, Hugh S. Rush (Cindy) of Spinnerstown, and Nathan T. Rush (Tania) of Mt. Joy. Two brothers Henry S. Raines (Debbie) of Allentown and Bruce R. Raines (Linda) of Center Valley. Ten grandchildren Amanda, Shawna, Joshua, Marissa, Jacquelyn, Serenah, Benjamin, Jonathan, Micah, & Alyssa Rush. Two great grandchildren Noah & Sienna. She was predeceased by a brother Robert. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.in Indian Valley Faith Fellowship 190 Maple Ave. Harleysville, PA 19438. There will be no calling hours. A light lunch & fellowship will follow the service. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
