Evelyn N. Slifer, 91, of Quakertown died March 27, 2016 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. She was the wife of the late Edwin R. Slifer, Jr. Born in Milford Twsp., Bucks County she was the daughter of the late Harry E. * Ida Matilda (Diehl) Hallman. She retired in 1987 from the former J.G. Furniture in Quakertown. Evelyn was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Quakertown. She loved gardening and watching wildlife from her window. She is survived by a son Ronald and his wife Diane of Quakertown. A sister Ella Betty Kurtz and her late husband Harold. A grandson Ronald Slifer, Jr. and two great grandsons Raymond and Richard. Predeceased by three brothers Francis, Wilson, Harry, two sisters Laura and Mame. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, April 1, 2016 in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
