Evan Marquette, 91, formerly of Lansdale died December 13, 2010 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Burnish) Marquette. They were married 71 years in June. Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Robert & Ethel Marquette. He was a service manager for Burroughs Corporation in Philadelphia for many years before retiring. Evan was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran serving during WW II. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Lynn Shelton and her husband Roy of Quakertown. A son Jon Marquette of New Jersey. A daughter in law Shirley Marquette of New Jersey. Three grandchildren Roy Shelton, III of Coopersburg, Kristi Shelton of Lansdale and Melissa Brooks of New Jersey. Three great grandchildren.
