Ethel S. Andres

Ethel S. Andres, 85 of Quakertown formerly of Surf City, NJ died Saturday October 18, 2008 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jerry Andres. Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Alvin C. and Carrie S. (Ehrline) Sine. Before her retirement in 1987 she was the owner operator of the former Surf City Bakery. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Quakertown. She was also a member of the Upper Bucks Senior Center and avid Bridge player. She is survived by two sons Ralph A. Clemmer and wife Linda of Pottstown and Jerry L. Clemmer and wife Pat of Sellersville. A brother William Weber and three sisters Evelyn Lewis, Jackie Levy and Louise Bartholomew. Six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Barbara L. Witt a sister Catherine Guentensperger and four brothers Earl Sine, Lester Sine, Lawrence Sine and Ralston Sine. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 22, at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer contributions to the Upper Bucks Senior Center, P.O.
