Estella M. Ackerman, 88, of Richlandtown died January 10, 2011 in her home. She was the wife of the late Lester S. Ackerman. Born in Richlandtown she was the daughter of the late Paul L. & Carrie (Hottel) Gross. She was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Richlandtown. Stella was also active in girl scouting in the Richlandtown Area. She is survived by a son David L., and two daughters Ruth A.,and Mary A. Gillen and her husband Joseph P. all of Richlandtown. Three brothers Ernest, Raymond and his wife Sue, Lamar and his wife Jeanne. Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ Church and Main Streets, Richlandtown, PA. Call Friday evening 7:00-8:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, and Saturday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church.
