Ernest A. Hauck

Ernest A. Hauck, 77, of Coopersburg died March 9, 2010 in his home. He was the husband of Jeanne ( McCullough ) Hauck. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on February 2. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 28, 1932, he raised his family in Lansdowne, PA, and settled in Bucks County in 1986. Since his retirement from Bell Telephone of PA and AT&T, he had been involved with many local community organizations. Most recently, he was past president of the South Bethlehem Neighborhood Center board and until his time of death served as treasurer and membership chairman of the Clover Leaf Archery Club in Milford Square. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the father of Mary, Bill, John, Paul, and James; grandfather of Joseph, Kelli, Aaron, and Sean Hauck, and Eric Austin. Visitation hours will be held today Thursday, March 11th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
