Emanuel J. "Kaiser" Babio, a lifelong resident of Bethlehem, died June 6th in St. Luke's Hospital. He was 71. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Weaver) Babio. They were married 49 years in February. Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was the son of the late Raymond & Amanda (Wisler) Babio. He retired in 2001 from the Maintenance Department of Lehigh University. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons - Manuel J. of Wisconsin, Raymond A. of Bethlehem, and Jason S. of Danielsville; a daughter Tina M. of Ohio; a brother Emil; two sisters - Lorraine and Ramona; ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was predeceased by two brothers - Raymond and John. Services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W.
