Elza Karelis, 88 of Lewisburg formerly of Quakertown died Saturday August 19, 2006 in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was the wife of the late Edgars Karelis. She was a seamstress before her retirement. Born in Latvia she was the daughter of the late Vilis and Otilija (Dunga) Ukavics. She was a member of the Latvian Lutheran Church of Bucks County & Vicinity in Quakertown. She is survived by a daughter Ruta Karelis and her husband Thomas Groninger of Lewisburg. Two grandchildren Erik Dunkelberger of Lewisburg and Krista Keister of Atlanta, GA. and two great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday August 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the church, 5th and Juniper Sts. Quakertown, PA. 18951. Call from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by the C. R.
