Ellen R. Crist, 87, of Quakertown died Friday, April 21, 2006 in Quakertown Center Genesis Health Care. She was the husband of the late Russell Crist. Born in Souderton she was the daughter of the late Preston C. & Mammie Y. (Detweiler) Renner. She was a member of Springfield Church of the Brethren in Coopersburg. She enjoyed fishing, baking, and playing Bingo. She is survived by her children Esther Klotz, John Crist, Betty French, Dolores Frei, Linda Kalmar, Dorothy Soderback, and Kathleen Fox. Two sisters Lizzy Stuber and Mary Frank. 32 grandchildren, 94 great grandchildren, and 47 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Shirley Vargo a grandchild and a great grandchild. Services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Springfield Church of the Brethren 920 E.
