Elizabeth 'Betty' A. Betz

Obituary Elizabeth A. "Betty" Betz, 91, of Richlandtown formerly of Quakertown died July 17, 2022 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. She was the wife of the late John Joseph Betz. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late David & Margaret (Maull) Dormann. Betty was a very caring person. Before her retirement she was a caretaker in private home care for many Quakertown residents. Prior to that she drove school bus for St. Isidores Catholic School. In her earlier working years she was a machine operator in various hosiery mills. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and a former girl scout leader. She was a member of St. Isidores Catholic Church in Quakertown and a former member of the church Sodality. She is survived by three daughters Margaret A. Rohrbach of Tallahassee, Florida; Elizabeth L. Lang (David) of Coopersburg; and Anna Marie Betz (Bruce Benfield) of Quakertown. A brother David (Janet), of Palm and a sister Mary Lou Dusza of Harleysville. Six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Mary Louise. Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
