Eleanor Mae Roth, 71 of Quakertown died Thursday March 19, 2009 in her home. She was the wife of Samuel A. Roth. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in January. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Ellen (O'Donnell) Breiner. She retired in 2005 from TEVA Pharmaceuticals in Sellersville. Eleanor was a member of West Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown where she also served on the kitchen committee. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, scrapbooking and all crafts. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children and grandchildren, daughter Diane Kistler and husband David of Watertown, NY and their children Jonathan and Amanda McCray and husband Jason, son Thomas and wife Sharon of Middletown, DE and their children Brandi Bowers and husband Mark, Christopher and Nathan, daughter Judith Scheetz and husband Timothy of Quakertown and their children Paul, Aaron, Isaac and KatieAnne, son Timothy and wife Monika of Arlee, MT and son Matthew and wife Jennifer of Richlandtown and their children Allison and Meagan. She is also survived by a brother Michael and two sisters Elizabeth Kemmerer and Marion Kemmerer. She was predeceased by brothers Richard, Raymond, Jack, Joseph and Bernard. Services will be held on Tuesday March 24, at 11:00 a.m. at West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Rd., Quakertown PA 18951. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
