Edward Mielke, 89, a resident of the Cottage at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center died Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Frieda (Bauer) Mielke, with whom he immagrated with from Germany during the Cold War. Born in Old Germany (now Poland) on February 2, 1919 he was the son of the late Samuel & Helene (Schmidt) Mielke. Ed came to this Country as a Master Cabinetmaker who soon became a highly qualified Machinist working 20 years at Brooks Instrument in Hatfield. He was a member of Little Zion Lutheran Church in Telford. He is survived by a daughter Annette McGough and her husband Gerry of Sellersville. Seven grandchildren Maria (McGough) Carlson, Teresa (McGough) Tedesco, Shawn McGough, Thomas McGough, Kristina Mielke, Kimberly Mielke, and Hans Mielke. Great grandchildren Annalise Carlson and Lorelei Carlson. He was also preceded in death by a son Hans Mielke. Services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in Little Zion Lutheran Church, 267 Morwood Rd. Telford, Pa 18969. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R.
