Edward J. Ruppert, Sr., 88 yrs. old of N. Salem Rd., Coopersburg passed on October 3, 2011 due to natural causes. Ed retired from SKF Ball Bearing in Philadelphia where he was a foreman. He served as a Radar Specialist while in the United States Marines during WW II. Ed was a Freemason and member of Saucon Lodge No. 469 for 43 years and was master during 1976. He was instrumental in the construction of the Masonic Temple Building in Coopersburg. He was an avid hunter and loved farming. He is survived by two sons and a daughter and 3 grandchildren.
