Obituary Edward A. Flood, Jr., 89, of Quakertown formerly of Port Richey, Florida and Sellersville, PA died August 26, 2020 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Claire M. (MacNutt) Flood. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Edward A., Sr. & Mary (Shirley) Flood. He was a machinist for the former Pennfield Industries and the former U.S. Gauge. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He is survived by two daughters D. Sue Fernandez (Mike Loughrey) of Coopersburg, and Karen Jett (Thad) of Telford. A step-daughter Jane Roseboro of Bethlehem. Two brothers John of New Port Richey, Florida and William (Dorothy) of The Villages, Florida. A step-daughter in law Linda Flaherty of Sellersville. Five step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two step sons John Michael Flaherty & Gregory Joseph Flaherty. Graveside services will be held on Thursday September 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Rd. Newtown, PA 18940. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Masks will be required and PA COVID guidelines will be followed. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association 150 Monument Rd.
