Edgar F. Hosking, Jr., 84 of Quakertown formerly of Perkasie died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005 in LifeQuest Nursing Center. He was a time clerk for U.S. Gauge-Ametek Division in Sellersville before his retirement in 1984. Born in Spring Valley, Buckingham Township he was the son of the late Edgar F., Sr. and Ethel (Anderson) Hosking. He was a member of the Anglican Church of the Incarnation in Quakertown serving as former secretary of the vestry, and Anglican lay reader and parish historian. He was past president of Lodge 1092 and editor of the Ten Ninety Tooter for 12 years. Edgar was well known for his collection of Civil War autographs and signatures of WW II. He also enjoyed compiling genealogy of family. He is survived by a son Craig and his wife Lisa of Perkasie, a daughter Yvonne M. of Florida, twin brother William M. of Quakertown and two grandchildren. A Requiem Mass will be held on Monday Nov. 14 at 11:30 a.m. at The Anglican Church of the Incarnation 44 S. Eighth St. Quakertown, Pa 18951. Call from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church.
