Earlin J. Wenhold

Earlin J. Wenhold, 95, formerly of Milford Square passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center where he resided. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Tomlinson) Wenhold. Born in Milford Square, Pa on December 12, 1917, he was the son of the late Raymond L. & Katie (Kline) Wenhold. He was a rural letter carrier for the Quakertown Post Office retiring in 1978, and a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association. Earlin was a graduate of Quakertown High School and a member of the former Quakertown Moose Lodge #1622, and former member of Milford Twp. Volunteer Fire Co. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II and a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242 and the North Penn Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and enjoyed his family and was very proud of their accomplishments. He was a member of Trinity Great Swamp UCC in Spinnerstown. Earlin is survived by a daughter Eileen Balliet of Quakertown, a brother Clifford Wenhold (Nancy) of Milford Square, A step son Dr. Thomas Greisamer (Melon) of WA. Two grandchildren Tom Smith (Teresa) , and Linda McGourney (Michael), five great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, his niece Darianne Fitch (Gregg) and a nephew Keith Wenhold. Three step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Great Swamp U.C.C. 9150 Spinnerstown Rd., Spinnerstown, Pa 18968. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R.
