Earle M. Sipes, 87, of Perkasie formerly of Warminster died May 20, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. For 52 years he was the husband of the late Virginia Ruth (Nigg) Sipes. Born in Altoona, Pa he was the son of the late John T. & Dorothy C. (Levy) Sipes. He was the owner of the former Warminster Bicycle Shop, Inc. retiring in 1990. Earle was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the 7th Armor Division during WW II. He also served on the 7th Armor Division reunion councils. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Perkasie. He is survived by two sons Kenneth and his wife Elaine, and Robert B., both of Perkasie. Three grandchildren Christopher (Laura), Brian (Audrey), and Melanie Leister (Terry). Six great grandsons. Also survived by his companion of the last 15 years Alice Brad. The family will hold a celebration of his Life on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in Peace Lutheran Church 100 Old Bethlehem Rd., Perkasie, PA 18944. Call from 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the church.
