Earl Rodenberger, 92, of Trumbauersville died October 6, 2016 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Betty Mae (Moyer) Rodenberger. Born in Trumbauersville he was the son of the late Harvey & Carrie (Hartzell) Rodenberger. He owned and operated Earls Garage in Trumbauersville before retiring in 1996. He was also a "Gentlemans Farmer". Earl was an active member of the Trumbauesville Lions Club. He was also a member of the Perkasie Owls, Red Hill & Perkasie VFW, and the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post 255 Sellersville. He was a life member of the Trumbauersville Fire Company and the North Penn Gun Club. Earl was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II and was the last surviving POW in Bucks County. He was a member of Christ Church of the U.C.C. in Trumbauersville. He is survived by two sons Earl R. "Butch" Rodenberger and Jeffrey Lee Rodenberger (Kim), a daughter Judy Fluck. Six grandchildren Kelly, Nicole, Colleen, Heather, Tiffany, and Noelle, and eight great grandchildren Jessica, Cora, Christian, Damon, Jayden, Lucas, Kaylee, and Luke. Predeceased by a granddaughter Susan. Services will start promptly at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Christ Church of the U.C.C. 101 N. Main St. Trumbauersville, PA 18970. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church. Arrangements are being handled by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
