Earl F. Rush

Earl F. Rush, 89, of Quakertown died December 10, 2012 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. He was the husband of M. Viola Rush who died on January 12, 2012. Born in Iron Hill, Bethlehem he was the son of the late Simon C. & Perlumia (Myers) Rush. He was a machine operator for Ametek/U.S. Gauge Division in Sellersville before retiring. He was a 70 year member of the Alutata Lodge #488 I.O.O.F., and also a member of the Springfield Township Historical Society. Earl was a Corporal who proudly served his country in the Army Air Force Corp. during WW II, and was a life member the Quakertown American Legion Post #242 He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Springtown. He is survived by his brother Paul R. and his wife Esther of Springtown. Three nieces Paulette, Virginia, and Cheryl and a nephew Douglas. Services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Springtown Lutheran Church, Main St. Springtown, Pa 18081. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church.
