Dudley Smith, 94, of Quakertown passed away on October 18, 2009 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. He was the husband of Lillian (Pappas) Smith for 63 years. Born in Niagra Falls he was the son of the late Dr. William A. & Gypsy (Dennis) Smith. He worked for the former Moore Business Forms, Quakertown for 41 years, retiring in 1978 . He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WW II and the Korean War. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 11322, the America Legion Post 242; and AARP Chapter 3377. He was a member of the Niagara Falls Coast Guard Auxiliary, a boy scout leader, in addition to other civic organizations. Dudley was a past member of the Milford Township Park Board for ten years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Trumbauersville. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Richard C. and his wife Judy, daughter Wende L. Bleam and her husband Raymond. A sister Diana Young . Four grandchildren Richard, Denise, Jason, and Alexis. Four great grandchildren Madison, James, Ryan, and Kailyn. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson Scott, three sisters and a brother. Services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in Christ Lutheran Church, 1 Luther Lane, Trumbauersville, PA 18970. Call Wednesday evening October 21, from 7:00-9:00 P.M. in the C.
