Dorothy M. Drechsel

Dorothy M. Drechsel, 91, of Quakertown formerly of Churchville, PA died September 23, 2015 in St. Lukes University Hospital, Bethlehem from complications following an automobile accident. She was the wife of the late Helmut E. Drechsel. Born in Churchville, Pa she was the daughter of the late Warren K. & Clara (Strohmeyer) Diehl. In 1950 Dorothy and her late husband co-founded National Scientific Co. of Quakertown. Dorothy was a member of Soroptimist International. She also enjoyed gardening & cooking. She is survived by a son Norman H. of Quakertown. She was predeceased by two half brothers John & Walter Diehl. She will also be missed by her cat Gigi. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
