Dorothy E. Friese, 82, of Quakertown died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. She was the wife of George H. Friese. They were married 64 years in September. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late David William & Bessie (Warrington) Schmid. She was a member of United Mennonite Church in Quakertown. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters Dorothy E. Mitchell and Georgia F. Young. Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the United Mennonite Church 180 Thatcher Rd. Quakertown. Call Sunday evening 7:00-8:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
