Dorothy A. Benner, 87 of Trexlertown formerly of Quakertown died Friday May 26, 2006 in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the wife of the late Harold G. Benner. She was a seamstress for various clothing mills in the upper Bucks County area before her retirement. Born in Geryville she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Bessie (Rothrock) Wimmer. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Ridge Valley. She is survived by a daughter Barbara A. wife of Lester F. Althouse, Jr. of Fogelsville and a son Harold W. of Mehoopany, Pa. A sister Edith Mumbauer of East Greenville. Three grandchildren Harold J. and his wife Nicole A. of Quakertown, Brenda of Alameda, CA. and Stephen Althouse of Fogelsville. Two great grandchildren Colby and Parker. Services will be held on Wednesday May 31, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church Ridge Valley, 1207 Allentown Rd.
