Doris B. Myers, Quakertown, died Thursday June 24th at home. She was 85. She and her husband William celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Foster & Elizabeth (Schumann) Wirehouse. Prior to her retirement, Doris worked as a mail clerk for Harleysville Insurance Company. She was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church in Souderton and was lovingly ministered to by her hometown church family at Quakertown Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Jim and his wife Joy, daughter Bonnie Fry and her husband Steven, a sister Miriam Siner, five grandchildren - Jonathan, Linda, Tom, Kevin, and Stephanie, and five great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00 A.M. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA, followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 12:00 P.M. at Crosspoint Baptist Church 64 Allentown Rd.
