Dolores M. Kahler, 59, of Macungie formerly of Quakertown died July 5, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Thomas Kahler. Born in Richland Twp., Pa she was the daughter of Evelyn Slifer of Macungie. She was a shelter worker for the Blind Association in Allentown. Dolores was a member of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by two brothers Ken of Haycock and James of Quakertown. A sister Jeanette Kirka of Zion Hill. Nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Wednesday 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Quakertown American Legion 610 East Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
