Diane A. German, 58, of Slatington died April 6, 2013 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John Makl. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Earl & Ada (Paine) Erdman. She is survived by a son Jesse L. Makl of Bristol and a daughter Jamie L. Derewal of Quakertown. Four brothers Earl of Allentown, Jon of Orefield, Wayne of Allentown and Boyd of Arizona. Two sisters Betty A. Snyder of Walnutport, and Darlene Ochs of Whitehall. Four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Alan. The family will hold a graveside service on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (Applebachsville), 837 Old Bethlehem Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is assisting with the arrangements.
