David R. Kern, 37, of Perkasie died February 17, 2007 in Burdette New York. He was the husband of Karen (Falkinburg) Kern. He was employed by Solar Reflections in Chalfont. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of Russell E. Kern of Sellersville and the late Donna (Landes) Kern. David was a member of the German Hungarian Club in Hilltown and a member of the American Pool Players Association for over 15 years. He enjoyed shooting pool with his wife Karen, participating in outdoor sports, following Nascar, and spending time with his kids. David will be remembered as an outgoing man with a competitive spirit. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a son Aaron David and a daughter Rachael Lynn; a brother Keith and his wife Sherry; two sisters - April Hicks and her husband Greg, and Lori Beans. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
