Darlene T. Conger, 66, of Quakertown died December 22, 2007 in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Delbert J. Conger. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Dale Schaffer and the late May (Fegley) Yost, and step-daughter of the late Wilson Yost. She retired in 1991 from Webcraft Technologies in Chalfont where she was a job coordinator. Prior to that she worked for the former Imrod & Renninger Pants Factories. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Richlandtown where she served on council, was a choir member and also a volunteer coordinator. Darlene was the former secretary treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 242. She is survived by two daughters Carol Nase and her husband Michael of Pennsburg, and Christine Ozkowski and her husband Steven of Quakertown. Sisters Roberta McClanahan, Cindy Becker, and Marsha Peterson. Grandchildren Jami, Sheri, Michael and Brooke. Predeceased by a sister Dennette Schaffer. Services will be held on Friday, December 28 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Friday 9:00-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
