Daniel J. Tusavitz, Sr., 62, a 34 year resident of Trumbauersville, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lorraine E. (Jeronis) Tusavitz. They were married 42 years in May. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Elkins Park he was the son of Patricia (Pronchick) Tusavitz of Campbell Hall, New York and the late Alphonsus Tusavitz. Dan was a railroad conductor for approximately 40 years employed by the Reading Railroad, Conrail, and the Norfolk Southern. He was a graduate of LaSalle University and attended Temple University for a Masters Program in Mathematics. Dan enjoyed boating, kayaking, biking, and traveling especially to the Florida Keys. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a son Daniel Tusavitz, Jr., and his wife Lori. Two daughters Elysia Tusavitz and Jocelyn Tusavitz. A sister Patricia Nowak , three grandchildren, Sabrina Tusavitz, Brianna Tusavitz, and Alex Cammarata. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call Friday 9:00-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
