Charles J. Wonsidler, 74, a lifelong resident of Milford Township, died Wednesday February 28, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Ruth (Stubanus) Wonsidler. They celebrated 47 years of marriage last March. He was the son of the late Morris & Clara (Rothmund) Wonsidler. Charles devoted his life to building C.J. Wonsidler Brothers, an Allis-Chalmers/AGCO agricultural and lawn & garden equipment dealership in Milford Township that he and his brother Jesse established in 1969. Their success earned him the "Circle of Honor" sales position as a top dealer in North America. From 1976 until 2002, he owned and operated an AC branch dealership at Pleasant Corners. In 1980, he purchased and operated an AC/New Holland agricultural and lawn and garden equipment dealership in Oley, PA. After his brother Walter passed away in 1975, Charles became president and co-owner of his business - Wonsidler Well Drilling, Inc. Charles served as President of Penn Jersey Equipment Dealer Association from November 1996 to November 1997. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Red Hill. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Darlene Fluck and her husband Lee of Quakertown; two grandchildren - Curtis a brother Jesse Wonsidler; and two sisters - Carrie Wolf and her husband Walter of Pennsburg, Mildred Sell and her husband Paul of Quakertown. He was predeceased by a brother Walter. Services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church 1244 St. Paul's Church Rd. Pennsburg, PA 18073. Call Sunday evening March 4, 2007 from 6:30-8:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, and Monday 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the church.
