Charles Bell, 87, of Ottsville passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 in Doylestown Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ida E. Bell. They were married 57 years last June. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Edwin A. & Edith M. (Bush) Bell. For 35 years he owned and operated the Park & Highway Supply Co. in Ferndale, PA and later in Ottsville, retiring in 1988. He was a Veteran of WW II and the Korean War, and also a member of the American Legion Post 242, Quakertown. In addition to his wife he was the father of Charles E. of Ottsville, Andrew M. and his wife Barbara of Coopersburg, and Marian Mayberry of Bristol. He was also survived by his beloved grandson Mark Bell and three granddaughters, and two step grandchildren. A sister Marian McCullough. There will be no services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
