Charles A. Shinn, 90 of New Smyrna Beach, Florida formerly of Richlandtown died Sunday April 9, 2006 in Oceanview Nursing Home, New Smyrna Beach. He was the husband of the late Gertrude (Taylor) Shinn. He was a machinist for AEL Electronics in Colmar before his retirement in 1979. Born in Telford he was the son of the late Albert and Gertrude (Race) Shinn. He was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Richlandtown. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a member and past commander of the New Smyrna Beach American Legion. He is survived by a daughter Rhea L. wife of Stanley Benner of Richlandtown and a son Charles B. Shinn and his wife Barbara of Quakertown. A sister Mary Borelli of Levittown and his companion Mary Ezak of New Smyrna Beach. 4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
