Catherine J. Arnholt

Obituary Catherine J Arnholt (Terpstra) of Coopersburg, PA passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020, at the Lutheran Community At Telford, after a valiant battle with Parkinsons Disease and later cancer. She was 77 years old.Cathy was born to the late Sipka and Catherine (Hynes) Terpstra in Passaic, NJ on May 2, 1942. She was raised in Morton, PA and graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School. Cathy met her husband the late James P Arnholt while working at Korvettes department store. They were married June 22, 1963 and later raised there family in Telford, Pa. When her husband passed in 1993 Cathy moved to an in-law suite with her daughters family and played a meaningful part as mom and grandmom over the years. She had a passion for music, more specifically Musikfest, and enjoyed live performances at the festival. When she couldnt attend she watched from home, making notes of artists and times of their performances. She is survived by a daughter Catherine J (Arnholt) Davidheiser (Douglas S.) of Coopersburg, and a son James P. Arnholt Jr (Michele) of Sellersville. Three grandchildren Jeremy Davidheiser (Jessie Ervin), Christina Arnholt (Christopher Ousey), and Danielle Davidheiser (Jeff Luvender). Two sisters-in-law Jane (Mansfield) Terpstra and Maria (Heron) Arnholt, a brother-in-law Rev. Joseph M. Arnholt. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Richard Terpstra, and brother-in-law George A. Arnholt Jr. She will be remembered for her smile, generosity, and kind heart. A mass will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11 A.M. at St. Isidore Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church.
