Carol-Jean Hoffman, 84, of Quakertown formerly of Kirkwood, Missouri died Thursday, January 5, 2006 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of Arthur E. Hoffman. They were married 54 years in October. Born in Cairo, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Louis Edward & Ruby Louise (Zimmerman) Veneziani. At one time she was employed by the National Sugar Refinery in Queens, New York. She was a graduate of Adelphia College in Long Island and a past officer of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was a member of the Board of Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge and she was a volunteer for both the American Red Cross and Birthright. She was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Arthur and a daughter Lou-Ellen Renshaw. Eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Julia-Ann Strobel. A mass will be held on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown.
