Carmen P. DiFrancesco, 92, of Coopersburg died April 16, 2015 in Valley Manor Nursing Center. Born in Atlas, Pa he was the son of the late Odorizzio & Amelia (Rossi) DiFrancesco. Before retiring he was a presser for the former Harvey Clothing in Quakertown. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II, and a former member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242. Carmen is survived by a son Carmen "Bruce" (Lorraine) of Coopersburg, two daughters Vicky Clark (Ron) of Coopersburg, and Diane Bast (Terry) of Green Lane. Four grandchildren Justin Bast (Lynda) of Pennsburg, Alicia Coughlan (Pete) of Green Lane, Daniel DiFrancesco of Boston, MA, and Nicole DiFrancesco of Columbia, GA. Three great grandchildren Emily, Meloney, and Liam and one great grandson due in July. He was predeceased by a son Richard L. and his ex-wife and friend Loretta E. DiFrancesco. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
