He loved the game of baseball, playing and watching, and will be remembered for his dedicated life-long love of the Phillies. Carl was a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242 and the VFW. In July he celebrated his 90th birthday with a big outdoor party at his home. Survivors: Carl will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Gayle (Hammond) and her husband Roger, his grandson Brandon and granddaughter Kristen.
