Brigitta Valentiner Bertoia, 87, of Quakertown died October 2, 2007 in Quakertown Center Genesis Elder Care. She was the wife of the late Harry Bertoia. Born in Berlin Germany she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm & CeCelia (Odefy) Valentiner. She was the author and illustrator of eight books including poetry and her life story. She also invented picture blankets by weaving her illustrations onto blankets. Brigitta is survived by a son Val and two daughter Lesta and Celia. Two grandchildren Eric and Fawni.
