Betty J. Bauman

Betty J. Bauman, 82, of Quakertown died September 19, 2011 in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Melvin M. Bauman. Born in Emmaus she was the daughter of the late Paul & Edna (Schantz) Bloch. She was last employed as a clerk for the Friendly Book Store in Quakertown. She also worked for American Greeting Cards. Betty was a 4-H Leader and a member of the Pennsylvania Grange. She was a member of West Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown where she sang in the church choir, and was a member of the quilting group and a former Sunday School Superintendant. She is survived by her five children Carol Wilkerson of Pittsburgh, Curtis (Dona) of Clarks Summit, Bruce (Debbie) of Quakertown, Audrey Wenger (William) of Davidsville, PA, and Scott (Stefanie) of Quakertown. A brother Harold Bloch (Kassie) of Emmaus. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at West Swamp Mennonite Church 2501 Allentown Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R.
