Barbara L. Scibek, 57, of Pennsburg formerly of Quakertown died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph E. Scibek. They were married 36 years last February. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa she was the daughter of Erma (Shaw) Ruddy of Plymouth, Pa and the late Joseph Ruddy. She was last employed at the Bucks County Clerk of Courts in Doylestown. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg. In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by a son Jeffery J. and his wife Suzanne of Horseheads, New York, a daughter Trasa L. wife of Jeff Markham of Pennsburg. A brother Joseph and his wife Cathy of Plymouth, PA. Six grandchildren Alyssa, Jeffrey, Natalie, Zaccery, Jacob, and Joshua. She was predeceased by a son Joey. Services will be held on Friday August 18, 2006 at 8:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
