B. Franklin Levy

B. Franklin Levy, 96, a longtime resident of Trumbauersville and Quakertown died August 27, 2017 at the Lutheran Community at Telford. He was the husband of the late Betty M. (Jones) Levy. Born in Trumbauersville he was the son of the late Warren B. & Emma (Erdman) Levy. He was the president of Levy School Bus Company before retiring in 1986. Franklin was a 1938 Quakertown Community High School graduate, continuing his education at Muhlenberg College graduating in 1942, he then went on to graduate in 1945 from the Philadelphia Lutheran Theology Seminary. He was a long time member and past president of the Trumbauersville Lions Club, a 50 year Mason with the Quakertown Lodge #512, and past president of the North Penn Shrine Club. He was also the past president of the Pennsylvania School Bus Association, and served on the board and as president of the Milford Township Sewer Authority. He was also a board member of the Bucks County Tuberculosis Society. Franklin enjoyed playing bridge, and was also an avid golfer. He was a member of the Church of Incarnation in Quakertown. He is survived by a son Warren M. Levy and wife Flora C. and a daughter C. Erica Feigley husband Dr. Donald M., Jr., all of Milford Township. He is also survived by six grandchildren Tammy E. Lyons (Matthew), Franklin B. Levy, Warren M. Levy, Jr. (Lauren), William J. Feigley (Janelle), Amanda Feigley Taylor (Peter), and B. Peter Feigley (Pia), and ten great grandchildren. Also survived by a brother Paul E. Levy. Predeceased by a son Benjamin F. Levy, Jr. and two sisters Ethel Hafler, and Kathryn Stump. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951 and also Thursday August 31, 2017 from 9:30-10:00 A.M. in the church. A Masonic Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening. A Requiem Eucharist will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of the Incarnation 44 S. 8th St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
